Goro Lodge within the Goro Game Reserve is situated in the Limpopo Province on the northwest slopes of Soutpansberg mountain range.  Three and a half hours from Johannesburg. The road surface is tar all the way and very easy to find.

Goro Lodge is positioned 8 km up the mountain on the reserve, hidden in a deep gorge, alongside a pure mountain stream.

Goro Lodge is completely remote, self contained and fully serviced. The entire reserve and Lodge is totally private – no sharing of the Lodge with strangers.  Our guests have it all to themselves!

The camp is beautifully constructed of rock, reed & thatch, and accommodates 10 guests in five (twin) bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.  Gas geysers provide hot water

The main lounge, dining & bar area opens onto a wooden sun deck overlooking the stream and forest.

A large open braai area is situated under giant raffia palms alongside the stream.

There is a swimming pool in the Lodge as well as beautiful natural rock pools with a small waterfall only 5 minutes walk from the Lodge
